ZORO

Zoro is a Bristol-born producer and DJ who’s carved a distinctive lane through UK club music. Since cutting his teeth in drum & bass, he now moves fluidly across tempos, blending garage, electro, funky and dubstep with deep roots in jungle, grime and the disco-infused selections of his upbringing.

 

Known for high-energy, vocal-heavy sets built around his own productions, Zoro brings the same restless creativity to the studio as he does the dancefloor. His music has been championed by Shy FX, Randall, Oppidan, Sam Binga, Sicaria, Chimpo, Just Jane, Eats Everything and Dr Dubplate, alongside collaborations with Warrior Queen, Trilla, Lzee, Logan, Kamakaze and CW Jones.

 

Zoro first made his mark releasing on the likes of Born On Road, V Recordings and CIA whilst also playing key festivals and venues including Boomtown, Glastonbury Festival and Printworks. Now, having released on Pineapple Records and armoured with forthcoming releases on EC2A and Werk Recordings, the next chapter focuses on deeper genre fusion, vocal collaborations and forward-thinking club music.
